In a significant diplomatic engagement, the European Union Ambassador to Uganda, His Excellency Jan Sadek, met with General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF), on Thursday afternoon at the Special Forces Command (SFC) Headquarters in Entebbe.
The meeting underscored the ongoing commitment between Uganda and the European Union to fostering security, stability, and collaboration in addressing regional challenges.
The discussions focused primarily on pressing regional security matters of mutual concern, reflecting the shared interest in peace and stability across East and Central Africa.

He further emphasized the EU’s ongoing initiatives, including capacity-building programs for security forces, humanitarian assistance in conflict zones, and financial aid aimed at supporting regional peacekeeping missions.
