Nairobi, Winners Family: A Family of Love and Compassion Committed to Supporting Orphans, Widows, and the Less Privileged

Winners Family is a group of God-loving individuals who have come together with the mission of helping the less fortunate, orphans, and widows, as well as uniting the youth through acts of love and prayer. Founded in Nairobi, Kenya, it was established by compassionate individuals with a strong devotion to God and a desire to make a difference.

Over the past two years, this family has been actively engaged in charitable work, extending its impact to other countries like Uganda, Rwanda, and Canada. Their primary goal is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people, aiming to transform the lives of those in need.

In its two years of operation, Winners Family has accomplished nearly 20 remarkable initiatives, including:

  • Visiting orphanages.
  • Providing food to the less privileged.
  • Reaching out to street children and helping them leave the streets for a better life.

During the Christmas and New Year holidays of 2024, the group organized a special event to share a meal with orphaned children at Sprouting Again Children’s Home, located in Kitengela, Kenya. This event took place on December 24, 2024, and was attended by 23 members of Winners Family along with 137 children from the home.

About Sprouting Again Children’s Home
Founded in 2016 by Joshua Mutuku, who began helping street children at the age of 17, Sprouting Again Children’s Home supports children aged 3 to 21 by providing essentials such as food, school fees, and uniforms.

The name of the home is inspired by the Bible verse Job 14:7: “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.” Currently, the home supports 137 children, including those in primary and secondary school as well as university students.

During the Christmas event, the leader of Winners Family encouraged the children, reminding them of the hope they have for a brighter future. The leader said:
“You must grow up loving God, taking care of your talents, and using what you are given wisely. You can achieve all this if you continue to pray fervently.”

Winners Family has lined up numerous programs aimed at evangelism and supporting the less fortunate. Ndakize Levis, also known as Ezira, one of the group’s leaders and CEO of EZIRA TV, stated:
“Our mission includes spreading the Gospel and transforming hearts to bring people back to Jesus Christ. We are also committed to continuing to assist the less privileged.”

Winners Family is a shining example of how young people can pool their efforts to perform acts of compassion and bring glory to God. What began in Nairobi is now expanding, positively impacting many lives and bringing hope to those in need.
